On Friday, my boyfriend and I took a beautiful drive to a few vineyards  and went wine tasting.  It was perfect weather, perfect company, and just what I needed to snap out of my funk.   Without becoming terribly repetitive and depressing (tooooo late?!), I’ve felt like a dark cloud has been hanging over me since we lost my grandpa and over all, I just haven’t felt like myself. Apparently, it’s nothing a lil wine and cheese can’t fix.  Just reaffirms my belief that yep, wine and cheese makes everything better.

Couple of things.

• I want to get married at one of the vineyards we stopped at. SO GORG.  I think I can even get the ball and chain to agree to this since he likes the sauce.
• Wine is sometimes just a fabulous excuse to get more CHEESE.
• Pre-wine tasting, we stopped at a lil pub to get something in our tummys to soak up all the jesus juice we knew we’d be having, and I finally understand the magic that is garlic fries. We were both total dragons the rest of the day, but it was so worth it! Go here if you’re ever in the area.
• We took a few a million pictures of ourselves because we’re vain silly, and I don’t have a normal face in any of them…what a wino!

It was a good day.

FRIDAY. I love you, really…it’s been too long. So I’m not really over here today…

When fellow LA girl/fashionista Nina at Femme Rationale asked me to be part of her Proust Questionaire Series, I was so honored and well, tickled PINK. Nina is kind of a big deal I was a fan of her blog from a distance until we became friends. I’m in awe of her style, her travels, her overall badassness, not to mention she’s one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Chrystina update…She’s awake, she’s awake! And hopefully able to come home soon, if it’s this weekend, I will be going to see her, no doubt! Ohh maybe take the top down?! She thanks you all so much for your prayers, positive thoughts, emails, comments, etc…she hasn’t been able to respond because she’s been sleeping beauty, which gave her body time to recover a bit from the trauma.

Happy Thursday Dolls!!

So, I’m pretty darn jealous of my twinny. She’s going to Coachella this weekend all V.I.P style. Usually I’m not a big music festival girl…I would find myself at the parties thrown by all the press there instead, laying by the pool, getting swag and maybe going to see a few performances.

The lineup this year is so random and eclectic that it actually interests me though, I just realized. TOO LATE, I might add. I’m pretty over the Killers, The Cure and Paul McCartney but I’d sooo want to see these…

If I was going…I’d wear something like this…and trust me, I’ve been to Palm Springs/Indio many times and I’m aware of how impractical this is for a music festival in the desert haha…but since it’s all make believe, who cares? I fell in love with this set…and I’ve blogged about that belt before…it will be mine!!!! Topshop! My favorite store in London now is in the US!! YAY! And the YSL shoes…le sigh.
