I usually stray from boring weekend updates, but this weekend was SO fun, and exactly what I needed. I felt normal again…actually, scratch that. I felt better than before.  BOOM LIFE! I gotcha by the balls…

Friday as I was running out the door to meet A for lunch I squeezed in pictures for an outfit post. Can I be honest and say I’m having a hell of a time shopping since my body has changed so much?  PUH-LEASE don’t crucify me for saying that you guys-the things that used to work for me no longer do, and I find myself wandering around what used to be my favorite stores like a lost puppy-which is a VERY uncomfortable feeling for someone who works in fashion. So much of weight loss is mental, and I know this is part of the journey. I was able to find this stripped, cropped shirt at one of my favorite local boutiques, Kaitlyn and paired it with JEGGINGS (From Forever21, of course), sky high wedges and the Liz standard bangles and men’s watch.

I was off to have lunch with this handsome gent…whom I adore-clearly, right?Meet “A”-he’s one of the good guys (he’s the best, actually), and right now I appreciate the good guys more than ever.  We filmed a 7 minute vlog of complete and utter nonsense during lunch (I blame the alky) but I don’t know if I can edit it to anything worth watching-at least for you. I happen to love it, but I’m slightly biased. This guy will be making some frequent appearances up in here though…

Friday night I went out with another one of the good guys in my life-WINE TASTING ya’ll. Holler.  He took me to this totally hidden gem of a winery (I was pretty sure it was a crack den) and we got to taste lot’s of wines and create custom blends and eat cheese and crackers and yeah, hi heaven. It was one of those places where you walk in and you’re totally blown away by how awesome it is-and also probably slightly relieved you didn’t get shot walking from your car. Just. Saying. He surprised me with a bottle of my very own “Liz Blend” to take home, which I thought was super sweet. I can’t wait to crack it open on a special occasion! Like…ya know. Wednesday. 

Saturday was spent recovering from all that wine, working on the new site, laundry, grocery shopping and hitting the gym.  I cancelled some evening plans and opted to stay in and become one with my couch.

Sunday was super fun thanks to yet another good guy. Jeez. 2 days, 3 guys…umm, it’s not like that, promise.  My friend Nick asked if I wanted to get lunch and see Due Date, and I’m so glad I went! A week ago, I wouldn’t have.  As I’m coming out of the darkness of what happened, I think it’s important for me to push myself…just a little.  It’s important for me to hang out with the good guys-the ones I feel safe with, the ones who remind me that there is more good in the world than bad, and that they’re here for me just like my girls are. Also-LAKERS. Undefeated. Mama like.

I feel very “Let’s Hear It For The Boy” right now, and now that song is stuck in my head…and probably yours too. You’re so welcome!

I’m SO looking forward to this week…yoga and work and training and studying and Lakers and the good guys and my girls and obviously an extra hour of sleep certainly has left me quite chipper, huh?

Ohhhh haiiiii…
I MISS YOU. A little over 2 weeks of no blogging, barely any blog reading, rarely tweeting (although I made up for that this weekend like WHOA)…and a lot of thinking about what to do with this lil piece of mine.

First things first though-WHAT A WEEKEND. You know when you’re all, I just want to lay out by the pool and be mellow…and then you find yourself on 6 dates (some with the same person), staying out until 6am (I’m too old for this shit), running bleachers, shopping with the gay bff and buying a romper (A ROMPER. I have this new body kinda…and I guess that means confidence…which I guess means rompers? Help), meeting tons of new people, drinking, drinking, drinking, and then drunk tweeting oops, explaining said drunk tweets to your nearest and dearest girls who are all WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?, making out, and at the end of the 3 day madness cuddling on the couch with a hot guy who just seems to fit, watching the Bachelorette and laughing at his impersonations of  ”the weather man”, making plans for the future and wondering how the hell this happened?

Yep, yep. That’s me. Right now. If this is any indication of how Summer is going to be…I like what I’m seeing. I like it a lot. Starbucks drive-thru fish face with John-pre Whitney Houston sing a long, and yeah he’s wearing a headband.May I recommend some Fat Cat Pinot Noir? Meow.I’m dating a personal trainer. With an MBA. Who watches the Bachelorette with me. Just…let me be happy.

Anyways. I’m sure ya’ll are on pins and needles about what I’m going to do with my blog.  Well.  I’m not leaving you, but I am moving.  To Tumblr.  The last two weeks I’ve been thinking a lot about It’s Unbeweavable!, and what it means to me, and what I can realistically keep up with.  I can’t imagine my life without you (I wish I could quit you), but I also LOVE LIVING MY LIFE, without worrying about taking photos of every moment, or spilling my heart and soul out just for the sake of giving a good read.  On my new site, I’ll be doing more of a “Lifecast”-some days I’ll write, some days I’ll throw up a picture of my new romper, etc.  I’m getting it all set up, and I’ll let you know when it’s ready to go and I hope you like it!!  This is inspired by my all time favorite blogger, Julia Allison. So NO ABSOLUTELY NOT RETIRING!!! You’re stuck with me.

Well…hello. I am having the HARDEST time with post titles lately! This just may be the worst to date. Apologies.

I haven’t been. I’m not going to go in to the why’s and all of that stuff, I just haven’t been. This weekend I did-there were family dinners, dates, It’s Always Sunny Marathons, a guy who made me the best cookies ever before we watched 500 Days of Summer…a movie that touched me so deeply because I identify with Summer SO much it freaks me out. We also saw Daybreakers…I usually LOVE zombie/ vampire (ones who don’t sparkle ) movies but yeah…not for me. Whatever. He made me cookies at 11 the night before. I can sacrifice Leap Year.

I was out til 5 am last night, and I’m too old for this…plus does anyone else feel like they need a vacation from their holiday weekend? Please and Thank you.

It was mostly good times all around, with some emotions up and down. (Andddd I’m a poet now? Cool.)

I bought this badass studded Free People headband that I love. On that note-I’m staying brunette at least through the holidays. There are lot’s of photo’s happening this time of year, and I just don’t want to risk it. Vain, party of one. I know. Sue me. Also bought 2 more bottles of Essie Mint Candy Apple. Best believe if you’re my winner, one is coming your way. It totally kicks the Chanel version out of the water.

Speaking of…I’m going to announce the winner tomorrow. Ya’ll should know by now I am never on time with these things. But it’s one more day to enter, so yay!!

I’m going to be doing a new series around here! Starting Wed, I’ll be getting my ass handed to me a few times a week by my friend Steven the Personal Trainer, and he has agreed to do a weekly column/series on It’s Unbeweavable! He’s accredited, certified, hot and hilarious. We’re going to do video blogs, and he’ll answer all your fitness and health questions. I’m excited to actually loose weight around the holidays instead of vice versa as per usual. Suck it Jillian! (Hooker)

Thank God, because I was so hungover on Friday morning perusing the crazy deals on Amazon, I was thisclose to losing all my dignity and buying…Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders:Power Squad Bod! Cardio Blasting Dance. HA! I blame the intense hangover. And also? MODG! But I forgive her, it was her birthday on Thanksgiving. I’m totally getting it for her for Christmas.

And lastly…besos loves. Brace yourselves. I DID NOT see New Moon! I KNOW, the HORROR OF IT ALL. Somehow, someway, I’m surviving. But I look like a vampire in this picture according to Mayra, so there ya go.

Well, these are some extremely large pictures of me from a spur of the moment bathroom photo sesh this weekend. Thanks to Brunch at Saks and Dream Sequins for showing me how to use larger pictures (I’m challenged), and this is just for testing purposes. I want to do makeup how to’s etc, and blogger’s teeny pictures don’t cut it. So here I am. Hi. Not used to seeing my mug so big up in this piece, kinda trippin me out…If you’re my FB friend you’ve seen these, I totes blew my load over there. HA.

As you can see, I’m still a brunette. Boo. I’ve had the most frustrating time finding a stylist who will grow some balls and turn me platinum. HELLO?! I live in Southern Cali. Hardly anyone has natural blonde hair here. I left my appt on Saturday near tears, which is THE worst feeling, right? If you follow me on Twitter, you know I was not happy. I think I said “she jacked up my bangs” lit-rilly 6 times. I have some prospects on the horizon…good lord I am this close to taking matters into my own hands! But I won’t. Yet.

His picture in my senior year yearbook has a heart around it. Awww’s all around. He was hot then, and hotter now. And funny, witty and complicated. To clear up any confusion-I am single! Which means…OPTIONS OPEN! Fun, fun…10 years later.

What.A.Weekend.

Being without plastic suuuucks. My CC’s have gone missing…which threw a bit of a wrench into my weekend because my bank is kindofanasshole. But I ended up having a really good one…

It was bittersweet though. You guys “know” of Holly, from this picture…the happy couple! Well, she’s moving to South Carolina to finish Grad School. I’m so proud of her, but I really just want to cry and beg her to stay! It’s so hard to find good girlfriends, right? We went out and I drowned our/MY sorrows in Pomegranate and Ruby Red Martinis and drunk texted, took pictures, drunk twittered, and might have shaken the bootys a lil…I’m sad…going to miss her!
