I get lots of emails. Don’t we all. Between work, blog, friends, facebook, Twitter, shopping sites, spam…I usually wake up to 275+ emails on my crackberry. No wonder I have the anxiety. Weekends are much slower, but I still immediately reach for my phone to check when I wake up. I have to say that besides emails from clients desperately needing my services ha, the emails I get from ya’ll are my FAVORITE. Seriously. CASE IN POINT. This Saturday morning…an email from my freaking NYC LOVER The Beauty File…and I have to share with you-her words…

Just a lil post to get me through this Sunday/Monday…I have a lot going on in my head underneath all this hair and I’m trying to get it at least a little sorted out before I explode all over my blog and you! More giveaways this week. It’s the Holiday season. I’m totes a giver.

It’s official. For some reason I am more nervous writing this post than I any I have before, and umm if you’ve read my blog you know that’s saying a lot.

I need a change, bad. This happens to me a lot, and it’s always taken out on my hair. Before you think I have completely lost my mind, some background. I have always worked in the fashion/beauty industry surrounded by creative, talented (and slightly crazy, myself included) people who see hair as an accessory, and one not meant to be taken too seriously, because guess what?! Basically anything can be fixed! (For the right amount, of course.)

Don’t hate on me, lovers…I know this may be a controversial decision. But change is never easy and Mama needs your support. I’m hoping to take the Unbeweavable-ness to new levels around this piece. I’m feeling a little emo-weavable (thanks Kel) about my last post. It’s hard for me to not feel like a loser on my own, let alone by putting it out there for the world to read. Thank you for lifting my spirits…we’ll see what happens, right? I’ll def keep you posted as usual!

NYC update news-I’m in the process of getting my make-up artistry website up (finally), and submitting my portfolio to agencies. So excited! Make-up is something I can do everywhere, especially in NYC, as the right fashion job might take a hot minute to find and I really enjoy not being homeless. Thank you for your support on the drummer front, and the NYC adventure…I adore you guys.

(We’re totally friends just like them. They probably met on blogs too!)

Happy Thursday lovelies!

Sooo…I’ve decided to go prance around online and see what happens! Thank you for sharing your stories and thoughs. I will DEFINITELY be blogging about my online dating adventures. Maybe I’ll start a weekly series or something, at the very least for entertainment value! I am doing my best to get back to all of you who commented on this post, I really appreciate your insights and know it’s personal to many of you…so I’m comin!

I got a little frustrated last night at the blogosphere…but the situation has been resolved, and I think this is the perfect time for some link LOVE.

Hi Dolls! My photo shoot went really well-that up there is not one of the final, processed images from the photographer, it’s just a picture a friend shot as we were wrapping. We found the PERFECT little deserted beach by the Montage Resort in Laguna…my favorite place on earth. Well, favorite place that I can drive to currently.

So it’s really late and I’m pooped…my false eyelashes are starting to feel heavy , so really quick I wanted to let you know AGAIN how much I love you and appreciate all of your support. I’m doin just fine!
However, I’m getting a little tired of talking about myself, so…COMING UP ON IT’S UNBEWEAVABLE…

I’m going to have the hair and makeup artist who worked with me today break-down the products and techniques she used in an upcoming blog. Even I learned some things, and I fancy myself a professional as well!

Truth be told we started to do a video blog but it got cut off-but video blogging (vlogging? is that what the kids are calling it these days?) is something I plan to start doing every once in a while if I can stop laughing hysterically in front of the video camera. WHY does that happen to me? So ridiculous!

I’m also setting up some interviews with a few fabulous fashionista’s/girls about town. My darling friend Melissa from NYC will be sharing her effing amazing style tips and inspirations-not only is she a dear friend of mine but her style is FIERCE and needs to be shared, and of course Chrystina will be sharing her beauty tips on my blog instead of hers. WHAT A GOOD BESTIE!

P.S. Apparently taking your “direct report” out at 2 am to Cafeteria in Chelsea for Lychee Martini’s, waffles and maybe some fried oreo’s and throwing it on the company AMEX is “AGAINST COMPANY POLICY.” Just an FYI.

I don’t work for that company anymore but we’re still very close and he is a FIERCE makeup artist-he’s worked for so many lines and has been an Account Exec for Clarins, etc…

I’m SO PROUD!!! He worked on the Domenico Vacca Fall 09 Show on Tuesday!!! Not going to lie, I wasn’t too familiar with this designer besides what he does for Menswear (which is insane though, all men should dress like this), but I love it…I want one of those little black ruffley dresses-that I will NOT zip my motorcycle jacket up over. I also want one of those camel bags, perfect for traveling.


I love how soft the makeup and hair is…he did good, huh??

Oh, yes…Moment of silence for the chiffon top and the jacket. I have some kind of funky one-piece situation going on now…I guess the only time I can wear one is with the other. Two peas in a pod. Of course it’s tricky getting on and off…I felt like I was a five year old when I took it off the first time…”arms up”…the bf had to help me. So amusing. I think it’s time to retire both.

On a less tragic note, I received the cutest award from my love bug at Through The Looking Glass…

I don’t have pics yet of the new hair…Birthday Celebration #2 was fun…toooo fun and the pictures are ridic. So I’ll have some from this weekend for sure.
