Hello loves. I’m sick (again? still? tis the season) and am too busy drinking nyquil from a sippy cup to post anything worth reading, but luckily the one and only SkinnyRunner is helping me out. I totally cyber stalked her and forced her to be my friend a few months ago.No shame in my game. I love this post, now maybe when I finally run that marathon I keep yapping about, I’ll look more “hot” than “hot mess.” MAYBE.

Hey cats, it’s SkinnyRunner here. I like to pretend I’m skinny and I like to run marathons.  Sometimes I even run hard and beat dudes, but there’s never an excuse for looking like one.  You don’t get extra points for looking haggard or homeless; only the Olsen twins do.  Which is why I want to talk about the most important part of successful running: looking cute.

First you gotta find the right outfit that flatters your body shape and that you feel good in.  Not what everyone else in your Pilates class is wearing.  For example, I’ve got more rolls than a bakery (or at least feel that way sometimes) so I never wear skintight shirts: I just don’t feel comfortable in them.  But I do feel comfortable in running skirts so I wear shorter skirts than a naughty Catholic school girl.

The key is finding what you feel good in whether that’s Lululemon tights, a Champion billowy babydoll tee, Nike Tempo shorts, loose capris, or a cotton t-shirt.  Find what you like, spend a couple bucks and invest in a few pieces.  When your man asks what the big credit card charge is, tell him it’s “sweat equity”.  <– I have no idea what that even means but it sounds good.
After you’ve covered all the important bits and pieces (no one wants to see you pull a Snooki… or a Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears, you get my drift) it’s time to move on to the second part of your training plan: hair and makeup. Yep, even though you’re going to be sweating out those miles, there’s no need to look like a swamp monster. I don’t wear makeup in training but I do for races; some runners might think it’s crazy to wear makeup while running a marathon but hello, there are PROFESSIONAL photographers out on the course. Why else would I run?! The whole 26.2 miles all I do pretend I’m being stalked by the paparazzi.

I’m not good at makeup like Liz is; I’m actually pretty bad at it. When spackling up my face, I either resemble a really bad graffiti artist or a 3 year old who got his hands on some forbidden Sharpies.
Nevertheless, here’s my valiant attempt at race face: First, use a sports sunscreen that is sweatproof and waterproof. and bulletproof if you’re running through the ghetto. I like Mission Athletecare products because they’re developed by professional athletes – if it’s good enough for Serena Williams and Amanda Beard, I guess it’s good enough for me. There’s a reason everyone under the sun says to wear sunscreen; if you don’t, you’re turning that $90 anti-wrinkle face serum into a really expensive moisturizer. So wear a good sunscreen that will stay on your face throughout the race.

Then use a makeup primer; this is important if you don’t want your face to melt off onto your shirt. I started using Smashbox PhotoFinish primer which is a great product; it “sets” your makeup so it lasts longer. But it’s also $36 for a small bottle (it does last a long time though). One time after I ran out of Smashbox, I was in that shopping boutique we all know and hate, Walmart, and saw the Covergirl Simply Ageless primer. Thinking I’d score a spot on Extreme Couponing for finding such a great deal, I tried it. For $14, it’s a third of the price and works just as well, I think.
Next up, makeup. I don’t use anything special, just Clinique makeup and their Superbalanced foundation. When you have skin that has multiple personalities (it’s dry and greasy, lucky me!) and occasionally wants to double as a pepperoni pizza, foundation is a necessity. To make sure it stays, I use a pressed powder to really lock that stuff down. I don’t wear eye makeup during a race but do curl my eyelashes. Hey, if I need to bat those babies at a photog, they better be curled.

Last, your hair. The great thing about running is that you get that windswept look without even trying. The bad thing is that windswept look is dangerously close to the “I got stuck in a wind tunnel and was electrocuted” look which isn’t quite as cute. I have long hair so I like to pull mine back into a big, messy but tight bun – the key to getting it really tight is to use 2 hairbands. And then I use a clip for a front poof; these hair clips have little teeth so they stay really well and are cheap. Or I like to throw on a thin, sparkly headband to keep all my wispy split ends out of my face.

And there you have it: you’re dolled up and ready to go. You’re looking so fine you might want to just skip your race and head out for a night on the town!

What brand/kind of make up do you use? I’ve been wanting to try that Make up Forever HD; has anyone tried it? Recommend it? (Liz edit-YES that stuff is magic in an expensive jar-love it!)

Packing for Costa Rica was no bueno.  My entire living room was covered in clothes, toiletries and assorted crap (butbutbut I need my highest wedge sandals) and I didn’t think my bags would make it under the airlines weight limit. Procrastination at it’s finest. Please ignore the random dog toys.

I’ve done my fair share of traveling, and I thought I was packing smart!  Not so much. So, since Costa Rica seems to be a hotspot for bloggers to travel to these days-with good reason, I thought I’d share just a little of what to bring…and what to leave at home.

What To Bring.
Durable Flip flops.
My boyfriend and I haven’t worn anything other shoes since we’ve been here, rain or shine. I suggest investing in quality pairs that are durable and won’t slip and slide in the mud-especially during the rainy or “green” season. I’ve been living in my Havaianas, and I also suggest Rainbows.

STRONG Bug Repellent.
In most beachy areas in Costa Rica, around dawn and dusk, these little bastard bugs called “no see ums” come out…and attack. A lot of the high end beach resorts spray their grounds, but it’s hard to get all of them and the bites suuuuuck. You really need to bring repellent with at least 40% DEET, and put it on during peak times.

More bathing suits, less underwear.
I’ve worn bikinis way more than I have proper undergarments, because running back to your room to change is just annoying when you want to go run in the ocean or pool. Plus it’s so balls to the wall hot that a bikini, tank top and shorts is all I feel like wearing.

What NOT To Bring.
Hair Dryers, Flat Irons, Curling Irons
I thought FOR SURE I would be “doing my hair” in Costa Rica. Uhhh…no. There is just no point-2 minutes after I flat iron, the humidity would take over and hello, frizz city. Plus, again-it’s HOT, and blow drying just seems like cruel and unusual punishment. Sidenote…it’s the jungle and the beach. I would feel like such an asshole if I showed up with Unbeweavable curls teased to the high heavens. Give your hair a break from the hot tools and get creative with bobby pins, headbands and braids.

Most Make-Up.
Same rationale as above…it’s humid, you’ll be sweating, and your foundation will fall right off. Plus, nobody is wearing make-up here and you will look silly. Pack some waterproof mascara (I love Dior Show), chapstick and call it a day. I felt naked at first, but once the tan and tropical beach glow kick in, you’ll be fine.

Perfumes or fragranced body lotions and hair stuff.
Bugs are just like boys…they like it when we smell good and want to bite us Stick to unscented deodorant and lotions, and leave your perfume bottles at home.

Most of February had me looking like this. Sick as all hell.  Pouting.  Bored.  Taking pictures of myself to send to my boyfriend so he’d come home early-FAIL.COM  So while February is my birth month-and my dirty 30 was great (sick, but GREAT-thank you for all the b-day love), I’m happy to see it go because NO MORE SICKY kthxbai. Plus it seemed like everyone had the plague, so I hope we’re all on the up and up. Soup and green tea, dolls.

I’m obsessed with my Pretty, Prettyyy, Pretttyyy Good Shirt (Holler Curb Fans!) that my boyfriend got me for Christmas-and I love it even more because one of my very best friends has the same one. So we may or may not sychronize when we wear our shirts. Lame or cute? Let’s go with cute.

A.n.y.w.a.y.s.
There were some things I found in February that I fell in LOVE with, and since the last beauty-ish post I did was basically in 1997, I thought I was due.

1. CHI Ionic Color Protector System 2 Conditioner $16-I switch up my shampoo/conditioners A LOT, and this is my current fave.
2. Physicians Formula Shimmer Bronzer in Vegas Strips $13…because being sick in the winter has left me looking like Casper. But not as friendly. Grrr
3. Smashbox High Definition Concealer $18…something else that has helped me not look so sickly-this build-able concealer deflects light and makes me look awake and ALIVE even after sleeping all day.
4. Philip B. Maui Wowie Beach Mist $22…blowdrying, straightening and curling is SUCH HARD WORK when I’m sick, and it’s always good to give your hair a break from heat styling anyway. I was going to shell out for my beloved Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray, but was referred to this Maui Wowie…and I love it. My hair is beachy wavy, not sticky and my hot tools stay under the sink.

But let’s focus…SUMMER IS COMING! This means a few things-work outs are being kicked up notch-OHHHH reminds me-check out the new blog I’m contributing to, along with so many other awesome bloggers-In It To Gym It. I digress…SUMMER=showing more skin, not wanting to wear tons of makeup because it’s so hot, faking a tan, touchable hair and skin, getting vajazzled (huh). Anyways, I’m loving these products as I venture into “Summer prep mode”…yep, there is such a thing, in my world at least. Welcome, it’s nice to have you.Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish- Makes your skin feel like silk and smells so.good. I DIE. Shed your winter coat, literally.  It’s not new, but I can’t live without it. Also, exfoliating is a must before self tanning…ehem…St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Spray-I’m not going to preach, because yes, that will be me at the beach or poolside for the next 4 months. Count on it. BUT, I’ll be getting my tan elsewhere. As in, from a bottle. I LOVE St. Tropez because the color is perfect, and they’ve eliminated the infamous self-tanner reek with some super smart technology…all I can tell you is that it smells like flowers, not like you just got flea dipped in chemicals or acid. LOVE.

Nars Body Glow-Ok, so now that we have are all exfoliated and tan, obviously we have to show it off.  I want to bathe in this.  The Monoi de Tahiti Oil smells like a tropical paradise and the “chocolate shimmer” gives your stems/collarbone a subtle sexy glow and enhances your tan.  ALSO-dries super quick and won’t get on your clothes.Victoria’s Secret PRO Camouflage FX Concealer Palette-I was all ehhhh about trying out VS revamped cosmetics line because I was never impressed with their makeup before.  However, the other day I attempted to hit up Sephora but couldn’t deal with all the girls wearing pink wigs running around and scaring the hell out of me in honor of the Tarina Tarantino launch, so I started wandering around the mall and my my, isn’t this story interesting (you’re welcome), found my way to VS .  I bought a few things, my favorite being this concealer palette, which shocked the shit out of me because custom palettes and corrective colors are items I expect to spend a lot on. In the summer, I hate wearing foundation, so I stick to concealer and light powders.  I can already tell I’m going to be obsessed with this. 3 shades of concealers that you can mix-so, if you get tan, etc…and then a green to counteract redness and my fav, the apricot to shut under eye circles DOWN.  PLUS? It’s like $14. John Frieda Collection Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster (That’s a mouthful. TWSS) YAY CHEAP HAIR PRODUCTS! I swear you guys, I love me some Kerastase and Pureology as much as the next girl, but these “affordable” lines are really stepping their game up.  This stuff gives me crazy volume and also makes my hair sooo soft. Love it. Posietint by Benefit-The sister of legendary Benetint, this lip and cheek stain is so purdy! Much lighter than benetint, which never really worked for me because I have fair skin and it was just TOO bright.  Loving Posie for the summer because of how neutral it is and since it’s a stain, it stays on forever, even in the heat/during making out. NARS The Multiple Coffret-LOVE The Multiple’s no matter the weather, but they are just so perfect for Summer. Multi purpose color for eyes, lips, and cheeks, and so easy to toss in your bag.  This set happens to have my favorite 3 colors-Orgasm, South Beach and Copacabana.

Why Did You Move To WordPress?
I still don’t know my way around here completely, but what I love is that the options are endless-design, analytics and SEO being the major factors that drove me to make the jump from Blogger. I also want to clarify that my domain is self hosted-I host through bluehost and use the Thesis theme. This is huge because I own my website. Like I said, I’m still learning about all that Thesis and WP in general have to offer as far as “plug ins”, etc go, but I felt it was the right time for me as I have a lot in store for the next year of It’s Unbeweavable!

How Did Your Blog Gain Such a Following?
I’m going to break this answer up into 2 parts-
1. Write about whatever the hell you want to write about. What are you passionate about?! Put effort into it, but remember why you started your blog in the first place-we all, eventually will get caught up in the numbers, the statistics, the page ranks-it can become an obsession-I know. Go back to your first couple of posts from time to time.
2. Read blogs. Make genuine connections, and I stress genuine. What I call “tit for tat” commenting will suck the life out of you and you’ll burn out. Comment on blogs that you love, chances are that blogger will love your blog too. Realize that a great following doesn’t necessarily mean 80 comments per post. So many of my readers don’t have blogs-but they might have Twitter! Use Twitter to foster those connections…If you aren’t using Twitter, but ask me this question, it’s the VERY first thing I will suggest to you.

How Can I Get Stuff For Free Like You Do?
This question makes me so uncomfortable, because I never intended to get any swag and it is NOT why I blog. Don’t ask this question, ya’ll, it’s tacky. I will just say-use your voice. Have opinions. It doesn’t go unnoticed by PR and Marketing companies.

Do You Have Hair Extensions?
Nope! I did when I started It’s Unbeweavable! but have since had them removed and my hair is healthier and longer than it has ever been-so I’m KILLING all the rumors about extensions ruining hair. Specifics-I had individuals (keratin bonds) in the front, and link in wefts in the back and the crown. I used the best human hair available and went to a salon I trusted. The initial cost was about $600.

Will M.A.C Foundations/Powders Break Out My Skin?
Obviously, I drinkdrankdrunk the M.A.C koolaid for quite some time, so I’m admittedly biased. My answer is no, absolutely not. M.A.C began as a make-up line to be used by professionals, and even if it’s readily available everywhere now, it is still professional grade. It is formulated to withstand the bright lights and heat in photo shoots and fashion shows. It is NOT formulated for sensitive skin, it is not going to “heal” any skin problems you might already have. However-you guys, it all comes down to skin care. You absolutely can’t sleep in M.A.C. I know, it happens, we roll in at 2am sometimes, but wash.your.face. And if M.A.C doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t mean it sucks. I’m still drinking the koolaid, apparently.

What Do You Look For in A Guy?
A best friend I can’t keep my hands off of. Laughter. Someone who loves the good in me and forgives the bad, but challenges me to be better. When I say, “I need to get a grip”, he responds with “Grip on to me.”

Even if it’s not applicable to a post I’m currently working on it, I will still save an image I love because it might be perfect for my next post. Always make sure you can use the image, and always always always link back to the image source. Always.

I haven’t really used CG since I was maybe 17, which we have established was kind of a while ago. When I was a teenager though, I wanted to BE Niki Taylor and she is still the first thing to pop into my mind when I think about COVERGIRL. I’m pretty sure my first powder was COVERGIRL-If I remember correctly, it was the tortoiseshell compact…do you guys remember that? So anyways, when I got an email from them asking if they could send me some products from their new collection, I of course said yes (duh. why would I say no?) but wasn’t really expecting too much. Like I wasn’t expecting I’d send mass texts to friends about how they need these products in their lives NOW. But I totally did, and they totally do, and here’s why. Giveaway details are at the bottom.

Shineblast Lipgloss-It sculpts your lips with curve-accentuating high shine and a fun flash of color. LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE.  Comparable to MAC Lipglass-super shiny but less sticky.  They sent me 2-a neutral and a bright pink and both can be worn alone or on top of lipstick.  If you’re like me, you have probably 10ish lipglosses in rotation-some at home, in your bag, car…I would def buy these-half the price of MAC and basically a third or fourth of the price of a Dior or Chanel.
LashBlast Length Mascara-For ultra long lashes that won’t flake or break during your big night out. I’m a total mascara junkie. Many g-chat/BBM convo’s have been devoted entirely to finding the perfect mascara.  I really like this one because it’s not heavy or cakey at all.  And their no flaking claim?  Totally true, and I would tell you if it wasn’t, because I hate when mascara flakes.  This is kinda random, and maybe I’m the only one who notice’s shit like this-LOVE THE YELLOW. It makes it so easy to find in my bottomless hole of a purse or make-up bag. Life is hard enough, right?



Smoky Shadowblast-A clever, two-step system for creating big bold smoky eyes with amazing results! When I opened the adorable box from CG, I immediately saw these and got rillyrilly excited.  Basically, the options are endless.  The easiest thing to do is use the light color as a base and the dark color from the lash line into the crease and hi, your eyes are done.  If you have been wanting to try a smoky eye, GET THE BLACK AND WHITE ONE.  I also love these for turning a day look into night in 2.5 seconds.  Use the dark color to line the inner rim, or the lighter one as a highlight or in the inner corner.

I didn’t want this to be a super long post too late, but they also sent me  new versions of the Clean Foundation and Pressed Powder…which now that I think about it, IS the one I used in high school.  It smells the same too-but I think it smells good, so that’s a win.  I was running low on my liquid Studio Fix the other day, so I used the foundation and I was so surprised.  I’m a major foundation snob and I think it’s the one thing worth spending a lot of cash on, after skin care.  This stuff is like $7 and gave amazing coverage, lasted all day and didn’t get all cakey and nasty at all.  The powder is pretty basic, I throw it in my bag for little touch ups during the day.

Also…The Simply Ageless Concealer-COVERGIRL and Olay’s first ever age-defying concealer visibly brightens the look of skin under the eyes for a more wide awake look. The Simply Ageless Corrector-Use in tandem with the concealer to diminish the appearance of even the most severe dark circles. I was skeptical-usually this kind of serious coverage is hard to find from a drugstore brand done correctly (in my opinion), but I think if your technique is right, these are just as good as Laura Mercier’s Secret Camo, for example…and again, 1/4 of the price.

This post has been swirling around my brain for days..almost a month. About a month ago, I won Featured Blogger for the month of January on 20sb-due to many, many of you voting. I joined 20sb almost the day I started this blog, and I met so many of you through it. I love that community and am thankful for the honor, and the WONDERFUL people I meet everyday.

But all the visits from people outside the fashion blogging community got me thinking, and I have to admit that this month I’ve been self conscious. It’s nothing anyone said or did, but here I am, afraid, and I hate that. I’ve tried, but I couldn’t seem to shake the yucky feeling that I was quickly becoming the poster child for “are fashion bloggers worthy, talented, etc”…and it kind of left me questioning where I fit in as a fashion blogger in a world of personal bloggers.

In conversations with friends lately about what my true passions in life are, not just the blog, but in REAL LIFE, people, there is no denying it. Fashion. Beauty. And that’s not something I want to be uncertain or embarrassed of, no matter what.

Maybe this infamous article in the Guardian reignited my fire. I don’t know. What I do know? The day I was hired as a MAC make-up artist was one of the best days of my life, and this is just a little of my story. I had dreamt about being a MAC artist for years, and after working for Lancome and Estee Lauder, I landed the chance to “audition.” First, there was a group interview, and then a round of cuts. Then the rest of us left had to do make-up on a model while some of MAC’s highest ranked makeup artists looked on, silently, with their elite judgey eyes. Nerve.Racking. Except? I was in the zone. I didn’t give a damn who was watching me. My model looked fierce when I was done with her.

And I made it, to the “Pro” team, even. I got the call while I was in the car with my best friend, obsessing over why they hadn’t called me because they said they would either way, and maybe I sucked, what if I didn’t get it and omg I had to get it, right, and is my phone working?!

I’m not going to defend the fashion or beauty industries in this post. I am not their voice, I am only my own. I don’t want this post to be-can you be pretty and a writer? Can you be a make up artist and smart? Can you be interested in fashion and have a blog worth reading? Because I hate to sound harsh, but if you answered NO to any of those questions-you’re in the wrong place, and I’m relieving myself of the burden to change your mind.

My experience with MAC and since, freelancing, define my happy place. Doing makeup for a fashion show or photo shoot? I don’t think I’ve ever felt so alive! How fun is doing prom make-up and talking to the giddy and nervous 16 year old in your chair about her dress, her date…and smiling at her mom, trying to communicate with your eyes that you will not have her daughter looking like a streetwalker when she leaves. There is nothing like doing bridal makeup. Nothing. Period. Being a part of someone’s wedding day?! A pretty intimate part too, especially if I’m on site. It’s an honor. For the rest of her life, that bride will look at her wedding pictures, and she has trusted in me that each time she does, she’ll see herself as beautiful as ever. And there is nothing as simple, but as lovely, as spending ten minutes with a young girl who has saved up for a few new lipglosses.

In my experience, beauty and fashion go hand in hand. Sometimes, we’d spend longer debating the make-up when styling out a photo shoot at my previous job than what the model was actually wearing-there were dresses, pieces, looks we HAD to shoot…but makeup and hair?! THAT is where we could get creative, and artistic. Most of my marketing budget went to hiring the best makeup artists in the world. I’ve stood next to Troy Jensen on a shoot as he transformed Miranda Kerr into a badass sex kitten. She is SO sweet in person…but it was Troy I couldn’t keep my eyes off of, the one who I grilled during downtime, the one who, when I was introduced to HIM, and he said, “Marketing manager and make up artist huh?!!” I became a complete stuttering mess-basically my “I carried a WATERMELON” moment- “Um, yeah I mean for MAC, not like you, you’re amazing…” With every flick of his wrist, it was magic. He brought our vision to life.

I don’t usually talk about things like that, because there is something sacred about them to me. I have had experiences with fashion and makeup that nobody can take away from me, that I haven’t wanted to share, but I felt it fitting for this post, my point of which is that the self doubt, the blog doubt and “what will they think” stops here. Covergirl recently sent me a ton of products, and turns out-I LOVE THEM. I know, I was surprised as hell too. I’ve talked about the products with so many friends, including some of you-but I’ve been afraid to blog about it. In the back of my mind I worried, what will they think if I do a makeup review? A tutorial? What will the 2.5 dudes reading my blog think? Am I vapid? Shallow? Not “serious” enough? Wait, when did I start taking myself so fucking seriously…especially on my blog?

Well, dolls…expect the Covergirl review this week. Expect more “Liz is Loving” , Balmain, and badass shoes. Expect coverage of NYFW. Because if I take away the fashion and the beauty, I take away some of my joy and I stifle a lot of me, of the girl those of you who have been reading for a while know-and I won’t do that. This is just a part of me though-that is truly what I want you to understand. I’ll still be writing about matters of the heart (my heart is in a really good place, fyi) anxiety, or the dumbass situations I get into (that subsequently cause my anxiety), don’t worry.

Another Liz and Kristin production…This time, we’ve styled each other for DATE NIGHT. First up, Liz for Kristin.

Couple things you should know-Kristin’s hubby likes her in black. He also really likes the movie Underworld, so I took a few cues from Kate Beckinsale’s character, minus the guns, etc. My goal for this ensemble is for hubs to be so mesmerized that after he picks his jaw up off the floor he will immediately go and buy Kristin a pair or four of Loubies and put them under the Christmas tree. Hi hubs!

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Kristin in person (woop!) and I KNOW she could pull this sexy, badass look off and get her Loubies. We play dirty.

Ok, ladies. We all love our Lizzy like mucho right? You wouldn’t be reading this otherwise. So, I’m sure you can feel me when I say that basically it’s gonna take one HELLUVA kick arse guy to be good enough for her in my book. Therefore, I put together a look that I think this Mr. Right would said…sexy, yet classy! I’m not even going to attempt to address makeup. That would be like me telling Rachel Bilson what to wear. Liz has got that covered. I did however include my new favorite scent. He’ll be like a moth to a flame. Like there was ever any doubt!

Oh, and the next time I see Liz I’m gonna give her a HUGE bear hug as I don’t get to hang with her nearly enough! Sigh.

Hey Santa,

I don’t know what got into me tonight! I’m pretty sure some of the things on this list will put me on a one way train to Naughtyville, but Santa, trust when I say this is the innocent version. And I’m really nice usually, and say BADASS in a loving, warm fuzzy kinda way. Anyways, here is my Badass Christmas list…some things I need, some things I love and some things that are just pure badassery.

Fragrances are always on my Christmas/Birthday lists, they’re easy and people can’t go wrong. Gucci Rush is my favorite for Badass evenings…sexy and I’ve never met a guy who didn’t like it. One of my favorite badass makeup tricks is to heavily line the inner bottom rim with black liner. You need a really good pencil for this, and I’ve been on the lookout for a new one. So, I asked bff/makeup artist/all knowing beauty product whore Istvan and it was settled. Armani Smooth Silk Eye Pencil in #4-Black.
Oh I know. STOP WITH THE COLD PLASMA, right? Well, loves…I can’t. Stuff is GOOD. I’ve been having lot’s of late nights and the guy I’m currently making out with has sexy scruff so my skin should be all messed up, but since I started using this lil bit of magic in a jar not so much. In other beauty news, Perricone M.D’s Cold Plasma?! Due to new bloggy rules, I have to disclose that they sent it to me for free. OK?! EVERYONE GOT THAT? HOWEVER! I never sell out up in here so rest assured I would never blog about it if I didn’t love it. I put too much on the first night and freaked to Brooke, but now that I’ve been using it correctly and not like a toddler for a week my skin is crazy smooth and glowing. Thank you for all the comments on my last post…I hope I didn’t come off sounding like I’m a perfect friend, or bitter because I never want to discount the amazing friends I do have…life happens and hopefully we are lucky enough to have great girls by our side. I consider myself very lucky. Speaking of…one of my best’s has crossed over to the dark side and started a blog!!! Don’t you love it when that happens?! So tonight (Friday) I’ve made it a point to make a date with another one of my nearest and dearest! A girly date of the best kind with margaritas, Mexican food and girl talk! It took writing that post for me to realize that sometimes I need to step my game up too. 2 way streets and all.

Saturday I have date with someone of the, ehem, penis variety. I don’t know what we’re doing yet but we always have fun, and I feel like getting dressed up and taking pictures!
