Mens White Tank (Can I just say wife beater?!) Hanes, Grey Skinny Jeans-Paige (These by Habitual are fairly similar), Boots-Aldo (2 seasons ago), Bangles, Necklace and Ring-Forever21, Watch-Guess Mens. Oh, and my jacked up mani is Essie Mink Muffs.

Couple of things-

• It’s officially September which means BOOTS ARE O.K. I couldn’t think of a better way to jumpstart my outfit posts than by highlighting my favorite closet dwellers. I wore these in a post a year ago, which goes to show that 1.I love them and 2. I probably won’t be buying new black boots this season-if these ain’t broke, why fix em. I still adore that I can unfold them and wear them over the knee. I didn’t do this because my neighbors already thought I was crazy. I guess I need to get used to this if I’m jumping on the outfit post train.
• Gabby took my pictures and for our first serious attempt, we are pretty pleased! The whole thing is just awkward, so please take it easy on me. Meaning-BE NICE.
• The grey skinnies didn’t fit when I bought them. As in, couldn’t get them over my ankles tight. I bought them anyway, in hopes that seeing them in my closet would encourage me to shape up. I almost cried when I wore them on a date last week. You know those moments? Just feels effing good.
• I was a little unsure of this outfit. Like it wasn’t fancy enough for an outfit post or something? But then Gabby said, “Well, you’d wear this out right?” to which I responded, “Hell yes, of course!” And that’s how my outfit posts are gonna go. I pair wife beaters with designer jeans, almost all my jewelry comes from Forever21, I only wear Men’s watches and sometimes my nails are chipped.
• So that’s me.

It’s hot in here.

Possibly because I currently have 3 appliances plugged in (blow dryer, flat iron, curling iron), all to achieve the effortless waves you like so much, and I realize that the next time I want to deny that I am high maintenance, I’ll just effing sigh in resignation. I concede.

I wonder if I’ll ever be a “wash and wear” hair kind of girl, and if not what does that say about me? Decide not to give it a second thought. Decide not to care what people think if I include that in a blog post. For now, it means I’ll have pretty princess hair for the day, so WIN.

I wonder if I can tell you how happy I am that you’re here. I wonder if it’s too soon to tell you that lately my blessings are feeling like burdens, but I’m working on it-I wonder if you’ll understand what I mean and not judge me. I wonder if you’ll care that a broken friendship of mine is mending and that makes me really happy. I wonder if you’ll ask the right questions, say the right things-I wonder how I’ll react when you don’t. I wonder what will happen when you read the.blog.

Make-up time. It’s amazing what a little Nars Orgasm blush can do. Orgasm. I wonder what it will be like…

I wonder what it will be like when I stop wondering and just know. Know exactly what you smell like after a shower, or when you wake up, or come home from a bike ride and my fabulous, albeit yoga pants clad ass pauses the Kardashians long enough to give you a hug, because I don’t care that you’re sweaty. In fact, I kinda love it. I wonder what it will be like when you know all my friends names, faces and life stories, who’s fighting with who and who’s opinions really matter, who (or who’s boyfriend) will come after you with a hockey stick if you hurt me. I wonder what it will be like when you have coffee (or a martini, knowing her) with my sister, alone, because she’s my world and I’m your world and they’re colliding.

I wonder what it will be like when we bridge the communication gap, the distance gap, the schedule gap. I wonder if we’ll ever completely bridge every.single.gap life throws at us, and I doubt it. I decide again not to worry about it, and instead just hold on to your hand tighter and jump. I decide that if I’m going to be doing all this jumping around, I should do it in style, so I buy these jeans. Something about jumping around screams, “BUY THE HUNTER BOOTS“ to me, so I do. I mean, maybe with all this jumping I’ll land in a puddle, and a girl has got to protect herself.

And if I stumble into that puddle sans the hunter boots, would you lay your coat over it to save my pink satin stilettos?

AT&T is a horrible, horrendous company. Not so much the Wireless division, although I don’t really know, as I have Verizon. Home internet/phone…I can’t even tell you how lame of a company they are. I know they won’t be around much longer, chapter 11 has just GOT to be around the corner if not already…what happened to customer service?!

I’ll spare you the re-hash of the entire week of our back and forth, but allow me to share AT&T screws Liz-the Weekend Edition. ENJOY!

Friday evening (remember their shenanigans started on Monday, dolls) -”I PROMISE we will have someone out to your house on Sunday from 8-5“-AT&T idiot manager. Having resigned myself to a weekend without internet and being busy anyway, I plan on a Sunday laying out on my dock, tanning, texting, twittering and fbing on my phone (junkie style) and waiting for the magical AT&T technician to come and restore my hopes and dreams.

This morning I wake up…at NOON haha (late night) and still, no technician man. Sooo…I call….for the 50th time this week- only to be told-”We actually don’t do house calls on Sundays, ma’am, someone gave you incorrect information.” Um…WHAT? I swear to baby jesus I thought I was in the Twilight Zone.

There comes a point in situations like this that no amount of Colombian temper, or sweet talking or LOGIC can help, so I make the apt. for Monday (tomorrow), think of arranging my schedule so someone can be home all day and attempt to make the best of my Sunday, hey at least I’m off house arrest, right?

So I’m whisked away in a brand new BMW with a brand new boy (ohhh) to Newport for sun and sushi, forgetting about AT&T, except to call Chrystina to tell her the latest (poor bestie has had to hear me rant and rave for a week)….and WHAT HAPPENS?!!!!

Phone rings. Random 714 number. Hmm…answer…and it’s an AT&T tech wanting to know if I’m home because he’s done with all his work for the day and saw that my order was the first for Monday. NO EFFERS, I’M NOT HOME! YOU TOLD ME TECHS DIDN’T WORK ON SUNDAYS IN MY AREA! You told me I could leave…deep breath.

Now, I’m a nice girl. Really. I realize that this kind man on the phone is trying to help. I bite my tongue and tell him calmly no, I’m not home (at this point, I just kind of want to cry and look at my date with such a helpless look in my eyes that he goes “oh my gosh Liz, are you ok?” -this amuses me awww.)…and tech-man says, “well let me just go by your house and see what I can do from the outside.” I say thank you, and honestly, don’t have any high hopes. Or low hopes.

But here we are, wireless connected!….no more flashing red lights on the modem that I often feared were going to send me, Gabby or Bella into an epileptic seizure…It amazes and saddens me that the hardworking technicians are probably the most intelligent and customer service oriented members of the entire AT&T family.

AT&T, you suck. Like, at life.

Anyways, I have SO much I’ve been wanting to blog about and share with you guys that I kinda feel like I might explode. I have also been so kindly tagged by a few of you, thank you so much!!! I can’t wait to do them!

On an entirely different note, as I mentioned in previous blogs-I am a True Religion girl. They are my FAVORITE JEANS…and jeans are such a pain in the ass to find that once I found ones I loved, and made said ass look fierce, I stockpiled. I used to wear Joes as well…but stopped…until on Thursday I found THESE! Except mine are in the perfect gray, which I’ve been hunting for! Aren’t the signature Joes tags so adorable? It’s definitely the marketeer in me that loves things like TAGS. HA. I want to blow it up and put it over my bed…is that weird? Don’t answer that.
