I think it’s safe to say that most of us ladies are waiting impatiently for Sex and The City 2 to come out on May 27th.  I mean, Aidan is back. I.die.  Anyways, I’ve got my girls lined up and we’re already planning who’s bringing what-bubbly, bubbly and bubbly, of course.  But we don’t have to wait til then to get the party started…I’ve got you covered from coast to coast!

I put too much on the first night and freaked to Brooke, but now that I’ve been using it correctly and not like a toddler for a week my skin is crazy smooth and glowing. Thank you for all the comments on my last post…I hope I didn’t come off sounding like I’m a perfect friend, or bitter because I never want to discount the amazing friends I do have…life happens and hopefully we are lucky enough to have great girls by our side. I consider myself very lucky. Speaking of…one of my best’s has crossed over to the dark side and started a blog!!! Don’t you love it when that happens?! So tonight (Friday) I’ve made it a point to make a date with another one of my nearest and dearest! A girly date of the best kind with margaritas, Mexican food and girl talk! It took writing that post for me to realize that sometimes I need to step my game up too. 2 way streets and all.

Saturday I have date with someone of the, ehem, penis variety. I don’t know what we’re doing yet but we always have fun, and I feel like getting dressed up and taking pictures!

Awwww you guys! I miss you! It’s so freaking bizarre how much I miss blogging, and it’s only been a few days! Just a busy week and life trumped le blog. Boo being busy, you’re a mean muggin whore with bad hair and ugly shoes! I wish I could share more about what I’m doing but my blog is not exactly anonymous and I can’t be too specific…Things should settle down next week so I’ll be back to my usual daily stalkage.

This week has been tough. The industry I’m in, by definition, while fun and fabulous, is TOUGH. I am battling old demons, but I’m going to be a badass and rock it out…and reward myself with some LOUBIES soon! I’m beating myself up because I haven’t worked out all week, but then again, I’ve barely eaten. (I don’t condone this AT ALL, I’m just saying.) I am a perfectionist and pleaser, working on a project that will never be perfect and nobody will ever be pleased=anxiety city.

Nothing will ever be good enough for them, so it’s just going to have to be good enough for me, with my new shoes and my (soon) new blonde hair. Appt has been made, I’m dragging Hanako along to perhaps film a Vlog or as she said, a “documentary”-”When Liz goes batshit crazy and dyes her hair platinum”…it could be the beginning of a series…”When Liz goes batshit crazy and …” I’ve got material for days, srsly.

But I digress.

I’m sorry to come back and write a post that is more for me than anyone else. I NEED to remind myself tonight, as the week is coming to an end, that next week will be better. That yes, this mess I was hired to clean up is worse than I ever could have imagined, the pressure is palpable but every day, I DO make it better. I was hired for a reason. And I’m getting a damn good name to put on my resume!

I was hoping the new collection would weaken my obsession with you. Nope. I personally, love where Christophe Decarnin has gone and I know some might not share my views, but hi, my blog.

You’ll be getting a break from contacts from time to time now! In discussing our plan to take over the world, Mandi of Mandizzle showed me THESE frames…and I die. Finding glasses I love has been such a challenge! Must. HAVE. We’re gonna be twins, lady.

CONGRATULATIONS MY LOVE!! One year ago Mandi opened Mandizzle, and she is blowing UP! Dreams do come true! She is a complete inspiration, fabulous friend and I freaking love her. Friday already…all I have to say is “yay!” Pretty much sums it up, no?

Last night was Fashion’s Night Out in NYC…and I’m not gonna lie, I had to pull myself away from the every-3- second- fabulous Twitter updates to have a pity party. With some Sangria from a bottle I did manage to grab this photo of MK and Ashley handing out lemonade. WERQUE. I read a “tweet” that someone tried to tip MK…because I’m totes sure she needs that extra $2. I die.
