If you’ve been a reader of It’s Unbeweavable for even a short time, you know I suffer from a mad, raging case of blog ADD. I’m pretty securely based in fashion and beauty, I think that much is clear. But then there are the times when my heart is screaming to be let out…and I’m not the kind of girl, the kind of blogger who can just tell it to shut up while I post the neon Minkoff clutch I covet. (Although I do. I rillyrilly do want one.)

Friends. The family you choose. Chelsea Talks Smack wrote an amazing piece on 2D vs 3D relationships, that you must read. It got me thinking of my friendships, the ones I truly hold near and dear, and right now, all I want to do is have all these girls in a room and eat cupcakes and drink sangria from a bottle wine and not do the shred. Some of these girls are 3D. Some are 2D. All are in my heart. The line for me has become so blurred…and I love it. Maybe it’s dealing with a really sick best friend that has this weighing so heavily on my heart and mind tonight. In any case, meet my besties. Thank them for putting up with my insanity, because if you think what I blog about is bad…you have no idea :)

Chrystina. Pray pray pray pretty please. I need her. In happier news, how freaking fabulous is this picture? Kate. Katie. We’ve been through some dark times together, and made it back up with the sun on our faces. I like it when she smiles. She doesn’t. I’m trying to convince her to start a blog…Amazing Melissa. Balance. Reminds me to keep going, chasing, living, and appreciating the little things. She’s not new to my blog. I wrote about her inspiration on my life here.
Kristin. We might collaborate on fabulous LBD posts (tosses weave ha), but this pretty lady is a true, life long friend. She’s a fierce fashionista with a heart of gold. Her little man even sent me flowers! Trust-she’s not as innocent as she looks. Just how we like it. :) haha

Miss Mayra. I once wrote an online dating post based on some dbag telling me I was “cute like a banana”. Shortly there after I met my own Banana, who incidently, is rillyrilly cute. Go figure!? The soundtrack to our friendship is going to make a fabulous mix CD. She’s badass. The list of our similarities is pretty extensive, so I won’t bore you. I love my badger.
Well, obviously...my Brooke. People don’t just show up in your life by chance, at least I don’t think so. It’s like God, the Universe, whatever you want to call it knew that I needed her. We needed each other. And when I get off that plane (I’m flying in with her sister ya’ll!), it’s not a matter of 2D becoming 3D. It’s just like Oh hey…soulmate…I haven’t seen you for 28 years, and you look rillyrilly good. :) I can’t forget…
Brown Girl-She reminds me that I’m a tough cookie even when I feel like I’m about to crumble.
Lilu-Makes me laugh. Takes care of her friends in a fierce way…I’m lucky to be one. I didn’t know what picture to use…I almost went with war paint. But instead…a glamour shot. Legend has it she’s holding not one but 2 shanks…
Jill-In a word? Awesome. Also? Incredibly caring and willing to share her experiences with me.
Hanako66-Hanako66 and I sealed the deal, if you will…and I love her. Her strength inspires me.
This post isn’t intended to alienate any of my readers or friends, as I love you all, truly and with each comment, email, or post of yours that I read, I am amazed at how you inspire me, make me laugh and uplift me. Multiple times. :)
These are the girls who hold it down for me on a daily basis, blog or not, 2D and 3D. I wanted you to meet them, because without them, I’d be a lost badger. Big ups to my girls…I adore you.
