I think it’s safe to say that most of us ladies are waiting impatiently for Sex and The City 2 to come out on May 27th. Â I mean, Aidan is back. I.die. and the thing i love love love about that masterpiece is definitely the friendships and i totally love the quote abouve as soon as i heard it in the trailer. but if you want something different: i admire the way Samantha leads her own life. so brave, free and jolly!! i love the way she puts her sex life out there. and my favorite quote of her is when she’s being invited to this party by some guys. the guy says “come!” handing out the invitation. and her response is awesome: “i always do!”

If only I lived out West…(it’s in the plans but not for a few years) so I guess for now I will cross my fingers and toes for the NYC giveaway and the Diary giveaway! (btw, I HAVE to tell you how awesome this giveaway is! Seriously! WOW!) Ok, so my favorite thing about Sex and the City – I love how easy it is to just watch episodes back to back and over and over! And I think they are the perfect example for friendship – they are all different women with different morals, values and beliefs but they all stick together, through thick and thin and always have each other’s backs!

I’ll probably never go to NYC but I read a few pages from The Carrie Diaries online and loved it!
My favorite thing about SATC is that they always make time for each other. My best friends live so far away and I would love to meet every Sunday at a diner like they do. I guess it shows that they are really truly friends.

It’s a SATC Bonanza! Lol! I would love to go to the SATC Tour in NYC or a copy of the Carrie Diaries! I personally like Carrie & Aidan more than Carrie & Big relationship. I hated that she married him at the end of the day in the first movie! I felt it was a big let down and a very typical ending. Big was always the one that looked good on paper, but I think Carrie could use a sensitive guy like Aidan in her life

So, okay, look. I know SATC is a far leap from reality (no freelancers can afford that lifestyle, etc. etc.) but. I adore how real the show is in the sense that the girls don’t always make the right decisions and sometimes things aren’t so happy-ever-after. Like with Carrie and Aiden.
But mostly I just love how I get completely lost in it and forget about actual reality.
I was going to say “OMG I LOVE SEX!” (it’s funny how we always try to shorten everything – totes) But I realized it was very important to put the “and the city”.

By far I love the frankness of the show. There was nothing “fairly alluded to” or skimmed over due to appropriateness. The relationships, friendships, etc were all realistic and nothing was shied away from. I got my first dose of what life was like as a single woman living out her dream, and it only drove me to focus on mine!

My favorite thing about Sex and the City is their sense of humor about life and their ability to stick together. It is so hard to find friends who really want to put you first, before men! I love Samantha’s feminist attitude about sex too, never fails to make me laugh. And I also adore how they are all so different, and even though they poke fun at each other they respect each other’s differences.
LOVE this show. Reminds me of lying on a bed, hungover and pigging out, with my best gay guy friend and laughing my ass off. Good times.
