I do think Topshop is in a slightly different league collab-wise than H&M though. I totally understand what H&M (and Choo) is doing from a business perspective, but we're not the intended target group, so we're not supposed to love the Choo line anyway. Choo is targeting teens and students who don't buy designer yet in the hopes they'll buy in to the brand and one day eventually buy the real thing because of the positive association they have with the brand. Topshop designers are doing this in support of the British high street. And I prefer the latter… definitely!
