Dear Liz, I'm sorry to hear about your Mom but I hope she gets well and is home soon! My mom was sick and in the hospital for a week about 7 years ago and it was horrible and wrong. It's tough seeing your parents as frail. Also, yeah… for all my talk of liking scary stuff I don't ever ever want to see anything close to paranormal either and lastly, hope the meeting went well!xxoxo

Oh, I'm so glad your mom is feeling better and is on the road to recovery. I adore her for the sheer fact that she deemed it necessary to look good at the ER by slicking on a bit of lipstick before arriving. So fabulous!

I am so happy your mom is home and hopefully on the mend. pneumonia is a bitch.
My mom's appendix ruptured and she was septic while her and I and my brother who was 14 at the time were all on vacation. It was terrifying. I was only 22, I had no idea what to do and talking to the dr who told me how close she had come to dying and attempting to absord all the care intructions was overwhelming. Trying to take care of my brother in an unfamilar place and take care of my mom who was in ICU for a week and then getting us all home…the role reversal is something I never want to experience again!
I hope your Thursday is uneventful in the family emergency department.

For your penumonia/flu stalker… have you tried Airborne? I use it even after I get sick… seems to help. And a nedi pot… they're gross, but they work.
