Last night was Fashion’s Night Out in NYC…and I’m not gonna lie, I had to pull myself away from the every-3- second- fabulous Twitter updates to have a pity party. With some Sangria from a bottle

All snarkyness and bitter Betty-ness aside, this was a phenomenal evening for the industry that I work in, am obsessed with and love. If you are unfamiliar with what FNO is-

Omgosh, we had Fashion's Night Out at King of Prussia mall here last night, and of course, my scholarly ass had night classes from 4-10 p.m. so I missed EVERYTHING. My bff and her boyfriend went and got tons of free champagne, gift bags from Betsy Johnson, cupcakes at Neiman's…I die. No MKO or Ashley sightings though, I would have just been too jealous for words!

Hey love! Finally managed to get internets for a few seconds and of course had to visit your blog. LOVED your fall badass list #2… ahhhh, that combo is pretty much my staple as well and I adore all the cardigans, coats and jumpers. Sigh… if only my job came with a wardrobe allowance. Ohh, I did catch a bit of FNO in London, but had a dinner appointment so I missed most of it. I think a few celebrities came out and there were huge parties across Mayfair and the West End, but the next day I heard from staff that people hardly bought anything. A shame.
Anyhoo, yay to bloggy friends! I finally met my first one in London on Thu and she was lovely

I'm gonna probably keep blogging but it's gonna be a slow process. I'm doing SO much better. I've come to realize how much better I deserve and that I've still got the whole world ahead of me and I'm looking at this "freedom" as an opportunity. Until this all happened 2 weeks ago, my life was already set and I wasn't happy about the direction it was going. Sure, I was in love but I wasn't happy with the plans that I settled for just for him. Now, he's a lesson learned and I'll never lose myself again.
