I’m so worried I can’t sleep, I feel like I might loose my cookies, I want to cry but I can’t because what if I can’t stop…and I need to be strong for her.
Some of you, especially those who have been around these parts for awhile, also read Whimsical Rose written by the gorgeous Chrystina.
Well. You might also know that she’s one of my absolute best friends in real life…She’s my family. It’s not my story to tell, and she’ll do it when she’s ready, but she’s been really, really sick.
She left me in Southern Cali in December to go visit her family in Central California for the holidays, and hasn’t been able to come back since. It’s been a long time. I miss her. We had plans, darn it.

Right now she is in a hospital bed in the middle of nowhere cali and it.is.breaking.my.heart. We hope and pray that surgery will take place tomorrow-a surgery that will make things so much better, and have her able to come back HOME!
She doesn’t deserve this-of course, nobody does…but she.really.doesn’t. Her life is dedicated to helping others, being the most amazing friend ever, being a rock for so many of us who love her…and NOTHING can happen to this girl. Nothing.
I want her back. I want her to be the Disney princess she was again. I want her to go on acting and singing auditions and then I’ll do her hair and make-up when she’s up for…and wins…an Oscar. When you’re in my heart, as some of you are as well, I love you with a crazy strength, and I love her.
Mild Liz rant-because I feel like the worst best friend on the planet-
I want to throw my blackberry because the past couple of days I have been busy, caught up, not feeling so good (although nothing like her), and we haven’t talked. I thought she was sleeping…and she thought I was ignoring her. She was trying to tell me she was in the hospital…and I had no effing idea. Today she re-sent the texts that she’s been sending me, texts I never received and all I could do was leave her a sobbing voicemail that I never got them and how sorry I was. Being her…she wasn’t mad. She was worried about ME. (She also knows that her Iphone and my Crackberry hate each other, but still.) End rant.
I’ll probably be up all night. This is not supposed to be a downer post…just an honest one. We are choosing to remain positive, because Chrystina is a ray of positivity. She’s just been through SO MUCH and it’s hard to not be there and the waiting game is the worst.
All your prayers and positive thoughts are appreciated, and I know Chrystina has been getting lots of love from the blogosphere, and trust me…nothing goes unnoticed by this girl. You guys are wonderful.
Hmmm…Anyone want to hang out at 1:30am? Oh wait, that is so sketchy to put on my public blog hahaha disregard that folks….this isn’t craigslist…

Oh, Liz, gigantic hugs to the both of you!! I will be praying for her and hope that she makes a speedy recovery, and also that you can somehow have a peace of mind knowing that she WILL be alright and back to her princess self in no-time.
Your friendship bond will outlast everything so try to get some sleep and remember that everything will be okay.

NOOOO Oh no I had no idea!! Chrystina definitly does not deserve anything to hurt her, she is just such a kind hearted person, truly just an inspiration. I really hope she gets better, I will be praying for her!!! It really is starting to hurt inside thinking about this, I really hope she gets better soon!

Your poor friend. I couldn't imagine what she could be in the hospital for. She is so adorable in that photo. You are right she is giving her idol a run for her money. I hope you feel better and I will too shoot her a ray of positivity:)

I follow both of your tweets and I picked up that something was going on with Chrystina, and I was worried too. I hope she gets better very soon and that you get your bestie back!
I can never understand why bad things happen to good people =/ I don't know her, but I truly hope she is OK and will come home soon.
I am so so sorry to hear about your friend Chrystina! what a horrible and awful situation to be in, both for her and you. I can't imagine. I have never had a friend so sick. but I'm sure it must be hell not to be able to be with her and help her get better. it's not as easy as bringing her chicken soup or mint chip when she has a cold, is it? but obviously she knows how much you love her and care for her and want her to get better so, like you said, that positivity will do wonders. I really hope the surgery goes well and she can come home soon!!

So scary Liz, and I very much know how you must be feeing right now. My best friend Tosh has been in the hospital before also and I was half-way out of my mind also and I cried. Honestly one of the first times I realized that friends can become like family to us. My prayers and thoughts are with her. I hope by the time you read this all will be better. God Bless.

my fingers and arms and legs and toes (even my ugly pinkie toes) and eyes are crossed hoping something gives and she gets better… Its hard knowing someone you adore is suffering and there is nothing you can do to fix it

Young people aren't supposed to get sick. Especially young, beautiful people. This is honestly the outlook I have on death, as unhealthy as it is. But I hope Chrystina feels and gets better soon. I know being surrounded by good friends like you must make her lot easier to bear.
