Happy Monday!
THE WEDDING. If you’re new to my blog (welcome!) here’s the deal…Hanako66 at Through the Looking Glass planned/was the MOH at a huge-crazy-gorgeous wedding Saturday, and she hired me to do the make-up…we had theeee best time together and a slumber party after (followed by a slightly comotose/hungover/exhausted brunch Sun morn!) Since she’s been planning this wedding for so long, and blogging through the process, she will mos def do a better recap than I, and I don’t want to steal her thunder! There was some amazing stuff happening on Sat night!
I didn’t have a lot of time for pictures of myself because I was super busy making sure the ladies looked beautiful and their makeup held up to the 108 temp. They did, it did. Liz > Heat. BOOYA! Oh and heck yes, I’m tooting my own horn. Heat is a make-up artist’s nightmare when it comes to make-up looking fab in pictures!!! I can’t wait to see the professional photos and show you! The bride was really happy, so that’s all I can ask for!
Hanako66 and I. Isn’t she so purdy? And can you see my necklace?? Her mom MADE IT FOR ME. It’s so badass and totally rivals the Oscar de la Renta one I coveted! EXCEPT WAY MORE AWESOME, I love it. My LBD is from F21! GO KRISTIN!
A little mush-Hanako was a “blog friend” turned real life friend. She’s incredible, so is her family and I hope our friendship only gets stronger! Blogging has brought so many amazing people into my life, and I’m so thankful.

The two of you look gorgeous! Sounds like you had a blast. Ahhh, if only I had 'known' you back when I was planning a wedding. Planned the whole thing ourselves, and everything was a piece of cake – the only thing that gave me a headache was finding a make-up artist. The girl I got ended up doing a good job, but something told me she wasn't as experienced (I ended up re-doing my own mascara with my MOH's help). See, I would have flown you to Europe to paint my face a little (and NO heat over here) – wouldn't that have been a great deal??
