Sooo….it’s my 100th post! Insert fireworks/explosives/cupcakes yay! I can’t wait for my next 100 posts. Blogging has impacted my life so much, in such a short time. I’m so blessed to have met so many fabulous people, and I thank you all for reading, supporting, sharing, following, commenting, lurking, stalking, whatever! I hope that my blog is as fun for you as it is for me.
So who’s in the mood for a little online dating update? Hmmm??
I haven’t met anyone in person yet, because navigating through the mass douchie emails is so much WORK! However, I have narrowed it down to THREE fellows I’m going to tear apart for your pleasure this evening. I aim to please.
Oh yeah…and online dating is making me feel like a dirty little phone fun haver! I talked to 3 guys tonight! I should start charging! Not…really.
1) The hot drummer from Online Dating Volume One. Ok. So, he’s definitely used to girls dropping trow when he walks in a room. Not me. He has yet to properly ask me out for drinks/coffee/drinks. But, he spent hours researching a gift for my dad for Fathers Day, etc. So, until he mans up and asks me out, I will continue to flirt with him shamelessly via text and late night phone calls because there is definitely a connection.
2) The probable/standard Orange County Douchebag/Bro. Hottie, lives by the beach and in every picture has a beer in hand…and he has almost 20 pictures. RING THE ALARM. Not looking to repeat the relationship I just got out of. He’s also 34, divorced and lives with a roommate. Talked to him on the phone and he said “yeah brahhhh” a few times. Ok…pass?
3) The Surprise. “T” works in marketing and advertising like me, is 30, just bought his own condo and made me laugh hysterically on the phone tonight. Anywho..insta-butterflies. All of a sudden we had been on the phone for 2 hours! Easy conversation, tons in common, his pictures are SUPER CUTE, he was refreshing, and I hung up the phone with him feeling like I might be onto something…
Both #2 and #3 have asked me to meet up next week, and I really hope hot drummer boy does too. We shall see…thoughts? Comments? Concerns?
The sweetest Miss Eve at Absolutely Ladylike spent hours creating the most fabulous new blog awards. She even did one inspired by me!! I’m so flattered, beyond belief. You know how I call you all my Dolls…well here it is, and I am passing it on to all of you! Take it, Dolls!
P.S. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of both Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. I am truly devastated…he was the soundtrack to my life and she a style-and hair- icon. I was torn between blogging about this tonight however I have already seen so many tributes that have done it better than I could. R.I.P.

Number 2 though.. definitely some alarm bells are ringing. 34 and already divorced… you don't need his baggage from his marriage and any crap the ex wife is bringing. Still meet him yes, but just remember he is divorced for a reason!!

A lot to take in there! Well:
(1) Congratulations on reaching 100! Woo hoo!
(2) This is how I predict it's going to go down– drummer dude is going to text ask you out– he's the no commitment guy who's hot because he doesn't have to work for it. You may go out with Bachelor 3 because he seems like the safe bet. Maybe there will be chemistry, maybe not. There will definitely be drunk texting with Drummer Dude after the date though. LOL.

Anyone who says 'brah' needs to be punched in the face. Hahaha how terrible do I sound. BUT there is no room for brah in the dictionary. Also a guy a has a photo of him drinking beer in every photo reminds me of A. The loser at the party that gets too drink and then ends up hitting on you (he thinks) but he is really poking his sweaty chest at you and spitting into your drink.

I just have to share my story to make you feel a little more optimistic. I met my husband on a popular dating site. He was the first (and only) guy I met in person after a string of less than witty one-liners from other guys (nothing quite like your "banana" fella though). We met on April Fools Day, fell in love on our second date (I'm not kidding), began planning our wedding immediately, and were married exactly 5 months to the day after our first date. This August we'll celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. So keep your sense of humor, block the weirdos, and give the nice guys/geeks a chance. My new theory is that you date the rockers but marry the nerds. A nerd/nice guy will adore you for the rest of your life! Keep us posted!!!

As for the fellas…I say #3 sounds like a winner!!! Surfer boy sounds like a douche who drinks too much (not the way to go!) He seems like the kind of guy who would put himself first, always. Though #1 seemed like a winner (and being a hot drummer boy doesn't hurt) if he hasn't grown a pair by now and asked you out…I say move on! A guy with his own condo, makes you laugh, and has bunches in common with your lovely self sounds like a major winner.

ok, my assessment is as follows:
1. definitely has potential and he sounds sweet. plus, he's a drummer. that's hot.
2. negative. this guy needs to get the boot. I generally prefer guys (when I was dating) to not call me "brahh" and I'm not a fan of Miller Lite. Just sayin'…I know that may sound obnoxious but I'm much more of a Sam Adams gal. In fact, any guy who drinks light beer has to go and while you didn't specially SAY that he's a light beer drinker if he's 34, divorced and has a roomate (ew) then he probs drinks Coors Light. Am I judging? You bet I am. can't help it. NEXT!

#1: this guy sounds lazy b/c he might be a bit too aware of his hotness. Play hard to get with this one if you want to reel him in, but then again do you want to have to always compete with the groupies? I met my boyfriend on a dating website! At the time i started talking to him, i was "online dating"…oh, a bunch of guys. He was different though(like your #3). He made me giggle and always pursued me first. After a month of texting, he still hadn't asked me out. So, I thought he was a p*ssy! I'm agggrrrrrrrrrressive. I felt we had a connection and so I asked him out. It's been over 2 years now and I love him and our life together!!
Good luck…I hope you don't meet any weirdos!
You have to keep investigating this connection with the last guy! Sounds like someone good to Start Love with! But, make sure this guy really is who he says he is. That's the biggest heartbreak when it comes to internet dating. People get so far into the online dating that by the time they have the courage to meet in person everything can be ruined if that person turns out to be a creep or just immature! I say if you feel a connection, try not to delay the meeting for too long.
