-I have ignored my internet dating inbox…expect stories!
-I have developed a crush…expect better stories!
-I have also spent way too much money trying to make myself feel better, and while I am a firm believer in retail therapy-a FIRM BELIEVER-I also do not have a trust fund. So instead…
This weekend, if L.A cooperates, I’m going to-work on the tan (ohhh Santa/the mailman should be bringing this today!) and read Valley of The Dolls.
Make a few or many yummy kiwi Champagne Cocktails-Le Fleur Vert via my darling Daniel at Man That’s Fraiche! for myself and my ladies…and laugh, A LOT.
Watch some Gossip Girl…well, watch some Blair and dream of her closet.
I’m going to write, because it feels good.

hey! I love that you are going to be reading Valley of the Dolls. I have never read it but it is on the 'MUST READ' list. It sounds like this week has been a roller coaster for you so this weekend you have earned the right to fart out and be lazy. I want to get tan but it has been rainy and cloudy here so no dice. I am going to be working tonight and tomorrow night so Sunday I am off to let my own brain fart:)

good for you my love! i've been wondering when you were going to post that cocktail recipe (you show up on my reader/dashboard thingy and i always look for yours and your sisters posts!) you know what i love to do to help me relax? go to the bowers museum! it's the perfect size, not too big, not too small, they typically have really good exhibits, a great restaurant (it's a patina restaurant) the courtyard is lovely, lots of spots to sit and enjoy the breeze and shade and nature and write. love you doll! mwah! oh, i wrote the piece for my friends website, i'll have to be sure to let you know when she posts it! i'm super excited! i'm like the gay carrie bradshaw!

Valley of the Dolls is such a deliciously trashy, fast read. I still remember the summer I read it I was taking the ferry to work every day and it felt like watching porn on a crowded bus. I kept glancing up furtively hoping no one could tell I was getting all hot under the collar. You will most definitely enjoy it (if it's your first read).
This weekend I'll probably be working (ugh) and doing a bunch of other lame boring shit. Not very exciting. Hopefully I'll get to live vicariously through you.
Aww, I hope you feel better soon. But then again, I don't know how many times I've been under the weather and just felt like not doing anything. My therapy (besides shopping, but I don't really want to bankrupt myself either) usually involves sports (running, swimming or the gym) because it's a way to get any blah feelings out of my system. Beach, cocktails and Gossip Girl sounds like a great plan too though.
By the way, your blog is appearing in my dashboard etc. so from my end I haven't noticed any blogger hickups. Have a great weekend!

For me, after a rough week, I like to squeeze in an extra yoga class or sit on the beach. Theres something about a the water that is so relaxing. Or just have a glass of wine!
Despite all the tough ones, you totally got through it and doing some amazing stuff to get the ball rolling. I have yet to read Valley of the Dolls (don't hit me) it shall be added to my summer reading!

I've been to the beach working on my ten and on what I love the 3 "S" : sea, sun and sand. I've finished my book, bought a new one ( a sad/ironic love story) ride my bike with the men of my life my Mr B., dinner with my family and then Cinema to watch "the hangover", I know it's not THE MOVIE, but it's worth it the ticket…What else?
