I have not been myself the past week and a half. We all go through down periods and I think it’s healthy to let it out, and deal and cry….but…I don’t know how to say this gently, so here it is. I need to get back to being a badass.

So here’s a quick example of how I’m bringing badass, back…yeah.
I went to Best Buy over the weekend for something, whatever. I’m wearing a not so bad ass outfit, but more importantly, a not so badass attitude. BUT, I have to tell you that I was wearing a maxi dress and flip flops because it’s part of the story! I usually wear wedges with maxi’s because I’m 5′5 on a good day.
So I’m flip
floppin around Best Buy and this HOT guy who works there is staring at me. But, because I’m feeling not so
badass, I’m like
ok…
wtf is he looking at me for, I must look horrible! (Not a good inner monologue, dolls, I know). But I’m just being honest here. Anyways, he “bumps” into me, smiles a cute smile and, I shoot him down. Want to run away.
Shameful, you guys. Not up to par. It’s not like I go around picking up guys at electronics super stores or anything, but I can usually hold my own and flirt anyone under the table. I’m usually confident-
my word is badass…
call it what you want, and never let anyone take it away from you. SO this weekend, I’m going to buy my new camera. And I’m going to Best Buy. Maybe “John” will be there, maybe not. Either way, I’m bringing my
badass attitude and my self confidence…never leaving home without them again. Oh, and I’m wearing heels.

I've definitely gone through those days mama. where i just feel like ultimate crap…and i whine to my husband " do i look pretty, does my skin look ok, i feel ugly!!! " but everyone bounces back and i know you definitely can! You've definitely inspired me too.

LOL. I know what you mean about getting back in the Badass frame of mind. I've been feeling a little down myself, but for reasons probably different from yours. Sometimes it's nice to take a break from all your BADASSness for a change. That way when you go back to your bad self, you can appreciate it. All a very abstract way of saying– you go girl. There's light at the end of the tunnel!
