Hi Dolls…so this must be the week of putting myself way out there. There are 2 things I usually don’t talk about-Anonymous of my previous post and….ewww…weight.
I am overall ok with my body. We have our ups and downs, literally, but I’ve learned to embrace my assets. HA. I don’t eat that much, honestly probably due to stress, and when I do eat…check out my sisters blog. She thinks she’s funny.
I’ve decided that being just “ok” with something isn’t working for me anymore. Relationships, career…I’m not settling for just ehh. So I’m kicking it up a notch in all aspects of my life, so I can be the best Liz for ME.
I recently stumbled upon the opportunity to be personal trained by a former Mr. Asia. Tonight is our first session and I’m terrified. Meet my trainer/killer!!
I’m really excited…he’s the kind of guy who I can text at 2am when I am on the verge of a tipsy Del Taco run. He’s also the kind of guy who is going to kick my ass into Saturday and probably make me cry.
I was thinking of who my “body-spiration” is…and I wanted to find someone real, someone with boobs because umm hello, and someone who looks healthy but super fit. I came across this picture of Kourtney Kardashian, and it’s really inspiring me. I feel like it’s a realistic goal for me.

Oh it’s going to hurt soooo goooood. I hope I can walk tomorrow.

wow! what an awesome post! Very good goals you made! She really is fit and healthy which is important. Great pic of her you found! I can’t wait to hear allll about your boat camp lol with Mr. Asia. I’m sure you’ll have some entertaining stories….take some advil now already lol!!

Lol. Now I feel guilty for having Asian metabolism that doesn’t require exercise. I do love a good soccer/tennis game that makes me sore and sweaty though… Weight lifting and running on a treadmill kind of just bores me.

Your trainer sounds great, my swim coach used to push me to the point of tears, somewhere near three miles before school. Now I push myself becasue I’m a broke student but working out is a must. Have you ever tried belly dancing? I think you would like it…I love it!!

I work out as well. 3/4 times a week. But I need a personal trainer just like you to add some more meat to my body!! Maybe I should move to california because that´s the Mecca of hittin´ weights…I guess.
I just started Jillian Michaels’ 30 Shred today, and man, that girl kicks some ass. That great that you get to work out with someone like mr. asia! Good luck, I hope you feel great (not just ok) when you’re done!

Oo I’m so jealous of you and your personal trainer, how awesome must that be! I’ve been doing Taebo lately and have found I’m shedding pounds and still eating crap, so good. I’ll be more serious about it as summer approaches though I’m sure but that’s still another 3 months away, yay xxx

Ahh the weave. It never leaves my mind, but at the same time I don’t think I can afford it yet. Oh, and there’s the teeny tiny fact that I don’t give a shit about what I look like right now. I only give a shit about making it through the day. It’s just one of those hard times…
But I want you to know that I really treasure your comments. They always make me smile, even through the tears of bitter self-pity! (and that’s no small feat)

oh goodness, you said it. I am totally tired of feeling just “ehh” about my body! it’s so hard for me to get motivated sometimes though! ugh, I just need to stop being lazy! I just bought the 30 day shred DVD but haven’t done it yet since I could hardly walk this past weekend from the tattoo. haha. but now that I can walk I should really let jillian kick my ass into gear. anyhoo, good luck with your new trainer!
hope you can get the shape soon and hope the gym with the trainer is fun.
i should lose more weights too cause the day after tomorrow is prom haha.
and the hard part is i’m not that motivated

i had a yoga instructor who used to work us so hard i would roll out of bed gingerly next morning.

Oh girl! Good luck! I remember my first kickboxing session. It hurt to walk and move my arms for DAYS. But it hurt in a good way.

I’m a day late in this post but how did it go? I gained 5 lbs in 2 weeks! Just when summer is starting! =( All these eating and I guess age has something to do with it now too -I’m getting old girl!
Omg! My friend and I were just talking the other day about how she’s SOO much hotter than Kim!
I started a workout re-vamp recently, and u MUST do this thing I did!!–Take pics of urself in a bikini from the front, side, and back–be sure that u have makeup on-of course-but don’t suck it in.
Take new pics each week on the same day with the same out fit. When u finish, you can see the changes. AND- If ur a little crazy like my friend, Ashley- U can flip thru them really quick and see ur self shrink. I say I won’t do that when I’m done, but I think that’s a lie…I probably will
Also…ur trainer is scaring more than Jason Bourne-kicking ass…taking names!

Liz!!!! Great post, so nice to see something refreshing and positive like this! This is something we totally relate to because we love working out and being the best we can be in terms of everything. So proud of you for not wanting to settle for "ehhh" anymore. Wish more people could get on that mind set you know? We love Kourtney, she is so much fun. You two are both gorgeous.
