Recently, my life has been touched by HIV/AIDS, as I’m sure many of yours have. When I saw the amazing work H&M is doing to support youth HIV and Aids Awareness, it hit close to home and I wanted to share the campaign preview, if you haven’t seen it yet!
The campaign is so fabulously 80′s…radically 80′s, I mean. Katy Perry, Estelle, Dita Von Teese, Roisin Murphy and Cyndi Lauper have all designed special T-Shirts, of which 25% of sales will go to support the cause. Could they have picked any cooler women? Roisin Murphy is my FAVE. And Katy Perry’s bodysuit? So cute!

i like the shirt with the eye the best. but i would be too boobalicious in that shirt in public, so i would probably just wear it to bed or to work out in. tmi, tmi.

I LOVE Dita so I think I’ll have to go get that shirt. I’m doing the AIDS Walk here in Portland in October and I’m looking forward to it. My father and godfather both have HIV so it’s obviously something I feel really strongly about. xoxo
so great to read all the nice and upbeat comments about fashion against aids here (the collaboration of h&m with our organisation 'designers against aids') i think we picked the right company and the right artists to go global with our safe sex messaging! last year with rihanna, timbaland, ziggy marley et al we already had a nice start, but this one truly rocks- and is very stylish too, imo. if you have a second, pls check out our website http://www.designersagainstaids.com
